Technical Manager Ruminants

A vacancy exists at De Heus India for a Technical Manager Ruminants to be responsible for technical support and guidance to customers, interpreting feed formulas and offering solutions. 

This position is based in Delhi / Rajpura, India and the technical manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

We are looking for an experienced, goal-driven individual, with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, who can develop technical training programs and seminars, impart technical skills and knowledge to the local technical and sales teams and help develop key farmers in the region. The individual must also help develop the POP’s to use for marketing and provide overall support to gain the maximum market share in the animal feed market in India. 

The incumbent will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic customer relationships and for finding opportunities to work with institutional customers and build strong relationships. In addition to this, he / she needs to oversee product application, positioning of trials and forging relationships between HQ product managers, customers and the sales team.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, with knowledge of the industry and key practices and be able to handle multiple priorities and work in a self-directed manner while being proficient in MS Office and related PC Programs. 

The incumbent will be in possession of the minimum qualification of a Postgraduate degree in animal nutrition (Doctorate preferable) with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ruminant technical services while understanding animal nutrition, livestock farming (especially dairy farming), feed formulation, feed milling and processing.
